Long-time lurker, first-time poster.
I've been lurking around HF for over a year, but didn't start hanging until March of 2012 when I bought my son a WBB and Superfly for his birthday. I say bought HIM a hammock, but I've been using it as much as he has, almost, and with the Fall camping season for Cub Scouts (he's a Webelos Scout and I'm Cubmaster for our Pack) coming up, we're both going to want to hang.
So, I just pulled the trigger on a Dangerbird, and I'm looking forward to hanging with my son this fall. We'll be getting some hammock-specific insulation this year, too, probably, but so far, our ground-dwelling Thermarests and sleeping bags have been mostly sufficient for the weather we camp in (rarely below 32F) here in Arkansas and southern Missouri.
Thanks!
Steven
