I am at Bussey Point, GA laying in the hammock for my first night. There are around 10-12 hammocks here, a few tents and one A-liner. It is 45F and I am nice and warm in my 3 season yeti that arrived 2 days ago. Looking forward to a great weekend.

Nice! Nothing quite like that first overnight hang. Enjoy that Warbonnet gear. It's top notch stuff.

Great, let me introduce you to a friend of mine while you're there.
Enjoy that downy goodness as you're suspended about the hard rocky ground.

It was a good night. I got a little chilly around 3am and I had to visit nature. Got back in and readjusted and stayed warm. I hung my glasses on the ridge line and when I got up in the morning they were gone. I found them on my chest. I think I will be investing into a bag to attach to the ridge line.
I have some things to adjust, but it was a great night. Normally when I tent, I wake up with stuff back, not this morning.
Glad to see your first hang went well, I'm still waiting for my first.
It's not about the miles, its about the smiles!
