Well Blaze.....a bit of patching to do.

I noticed the same random knot tied into my blackbird ridgeline. No biggie, but it looked like a quick shortcut someone took. I've always wondered why he ties knots instead of splicing. Would make for a much more 'finished' hammock. Not many vendors are tying knots anymore.
The afternoon light on the trees was particularly nice in your second vid. Glad your liking your diamond tarp. I've always wanted a diamond tarp cause i like the look of them.

I purchased a $700.00 Hilleberg tent from the states apx a year ago, this is before I known about hammocks, and it came with a small hole similar to what you have on your Fly. I contacted Hilleberg and got a response back from one of the Hillebergs them selves and informed me to just use some Sillnet to cover the hole. I done this almost a year ago and never had a problem with it. It's still sealed to this day.

You can use saliva while you're trying to get them to close up, then if you're worried about contamination, wipe the area with rubbing alcohol to clean it then apply the SilNet.
Good luck,

Man I wouldn't stress about those holes at all. Smear some flowable silicon on it and forget about it. It's just a matter of time before you stab a limb thru it anyway.
One of my tarps looks like Frankenstein from all the repairs and silicone marks. But it still works fine and I don't worry.
PS, I enjoy your vids, you live in a beautiful area.
Hopefully something will be worked out to your satisfaction, Brandon was excellent to deal with and actually will reply to messages when he can. We all really enjoy your videos and look forward to more of them.

Have forgotten to post the result.
I have a tarp, repaired, but like brand new.
No need for Brandon to do any thing. Tarp is like new.
Best,
Blaze
