This will be my first time in a hammock. Should be interesting. Thanks Jeepcachr for making my hammock.
Here is an Updated list, it would be helpful if people would post their plans. When your coming in, where your going to stay Friday night. That way we will know when to expect you. If you want to hike with us let me know. It really is super easy to find. Sunshine, Tritan and I will be headed to Seaton Creek campng ground Friday night. With an expected arrival time of about 8:00pm. Saturday morning we are planning to hike from there to the hang. My phone has weak coverage in that area but I'll have it on me if you need directions or have questions. My number is 616-262-7798 and my name is Tim.

I'm think about joining everyone on this as my annual trip out west is not happening this year I just checked out Seaton Creek Campground on USFS website and it's dates of operation are May 8 thru Sept 20.... Might be closed.... has anyone confirmed it will be open...
This site says Oct. 1, http://www.forestcamping.com/dow/eastern/mancmp.htm but that still means it's closed. I'll check with the Manistee Ranger station and get back to you. I know a lot of people hike the MRT in the winter, so we may just have to hike in Friday night or stay somewhere else.
There are several USFS campgrounds located all around the area. I will try to find a map to them. Not sure if I will be able to make it that weekend, work is really starting to ramp up, and an engineers work is apparently never done. If I do make it, it will just be me.
Seems odd to me that the campgrounds would close the day bow season opens but maybe that's why they do.

Just a quick question. Anybody that's going; do you have a bush buddy coming with you? I really want to see one of these in person.
