I just made my new frameless pack, my internal frame pack is a gregory acadia, it fits me great, but it weighs 4.5 pounds. My new frameless weighs around .5 pounds. I haven't hiked with it yet, but 4 pounds difference makes me very happy

Psalm 19:1-3 "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard."

I too will something make and joy in it's making
I love using my 8oz Gossamer Gear G5 to hammock backpack.
But, I do use a torso length Ridgerest & it makes the GG G5's frame.
The pack has a perfect lower compartment for a quilt / bag.
Replacing the heavy, bulky tent with a HHULBP made the UL frameless pack work.
Fanatic Fringer, the Gossamer Gear packs are more durable than I expected. I'll show you my Mariposa & the G5 if you want to get together.
Enjoy,
Egads
