guys.... I just left Mid-MO last winter, or I'd go...
MrClean - I saw you mentioned SPADfest and Oshkosh (B'gosh)... are you a WWI enthusiast? Gathering of Eagles? Don Stark's Dawn Patrol?
Just curious!

Read the book, have seen the Neuports and a Se 5 I think it was about 10 years ago at Roosterville International's Octoberfest. I drive by Noah's Ark on the way to my RC field, just went by today. Velcro'd a couple of the keychain Spycams on my plane this afternoon. Sure looked good before I started the engine. The vibration of the engine running though just about make ya toss the ole cookies. Then one of the cameras got exhaust on the lens. Least I hope it's exhaust. I've cleaned it but it's too dark now for a good picture. If something has shaken loose inside I'll have to go in to fix it and there's not much in there except a mini SD jack, three buttons, lens and mic and one chip to run it all. Connections so small I'd have better luck putting a splint on a millipede leg.
I like WWI but there just isn't much flying left. Repros, yes, but I missed them at Oshkosh. Did see the 1911 Curtis fly.
For a thrill, airplane enthusiasts, lookup Airventure 2009, 2010 and 2011 videos on Youtube author of Slickhutto. Make you want to go like it made me.
