There has been some talk on the Forums about the use of Harbor Freight Straps for a webbing suspension.
My father is in the market for a new suspension for his Claytor Jungle Hammock, so I figured I would pick some up and check them out.

This Polyester webbing is called "Lashing Straps."
I found two different ones that were the same price: $3.99 for a two pack.

The one on the left has a "working load" of 330 lbs.
The 330 is the working load of the strap including the buckle-
that means the buckle won't hold past that weight.
I will not be using the buckle. I think the strap has a breaking strength of around 1000 lbs, the same as the straps on the right.

I found a bad spot on one of the straps. It is two feet in from the cambuckle.
I guess I am going to have to return these.
