Sup yall. Just thought I'd make my first post here in the introductions. I've done 2 week long hangs in the BWCA, in early Oct the past two years.

The first year (2014) probably got down to 25°. This was my first trip in the hammock. I had an eno DN, Kelty Noah 12 tarp, a sleeping bag for a TQ and a early 80's LL bean sleeping bag as an underquilt. Snowed 5 of 7 days. Made it through the trip with a toasty warm butt. The "bean" bag was great but super heavy and bulky.

The second year(2015) I upgraded the UQ to an ENO Vulcan. Temps hit 30° ish. Slept fantastic and warm. Weather was much better this trip (actually it was rediculous how nice it was.

Beyond that I've done a couple of weekends in the rig camping out of the car. I'm officially over ground camping.

Anyway, I'm excited to share experiences with yall and learn a bunch. I've alreardy learned a lot just reading posts. Oh and I just made my first purchase from Dutch (Half-Wit hammock).

PEACE
