Thought someone might be interested considering all the talk I hear (see?) about camo fabrics.
Camo of varied weights on sale!

Nice find; I'm sure you've made many people here quite happy.
I need winter camo now - pure white - my claytor jungle isn't going to be very stealthy against the new fallen snow
even that 500d is pretty heavy. to bad nobody has any light ripstop dig.
owf has some pu coated stuff, but it's 4 oz/yd.
i like the marine woodland dig alot better than the typical urban dig like seen above.
These guys sell all sorts of camo fabrics.... But only "wholesale", not to the general public. The prices are nice though....
Maybe one of the business owners who have some "extra" capital or cash flow would consider buying and reselling some in hammock sized or tarp sized pieces.
Rochford Supply has some 1.9 oz ripstop camo.
+1
I find the Marpat too yellow, I like the CadPat (maybe its a difference in the bush)... However you're unlikely to find Cadpat...
The army universal digital just needs some darks added to make it pretty darn good. As it stands it lacks enough contrast to serve well.
For longer distance most of the digital pattersn lack enough larger groupings to maintain a good pattern and tend to blend together and look like a solid colour.
I've been playing with my own patterns, but the problem is getting it onto the fabric in a practical fashion. Especially when you're looking at large pieces like tarps....
I've been thinking that a digital based on something like Trebark would be a pretty good universal base to work from.
Could sew on loose leaves from cloth flowers/plants from a craft store to help make it better...
Finally there's going the way of dazzle painted ships in hammock building and using large irregular blocks of colours to break-up the outline.
So can anyone buy from these guys or not?? I emailed them & was told "We sell wholesale to everyone and anyone". Which makes me think they will sell to anyone but then "wholesale" makes me unsure.
