Do many people walk the entire track?

I don't know the numbers but people certainly walk the entire length. Where we spent the night there was a group of three Uni students who were just completing the first day of an end to end attempt. I don't know what the record is now but a few years ago a guy did the whole track in seventeen days (supported) and last year a woman did it in 20 days unsupported. I bet they didn't get to see much of the countryside .
