Great trip! A little wet, but that's what you bring rain gear and a tarp for, right? Actually, it was a good mix, and there was plenty of time for conversation without dealing with rain.

I arrived on Friday after getting off work, and had just enough time to (mostly) set up before dark. As usual, the company was superb. Here's the YouTube writeup:

The second annual www.hammockforums.net Hoosier Hang happened on April 14-17, 2011 at the Hoosier National Forest, Indiana. Storms came and went, new friendships were made and old ones were solidified. Our plans had to change due to the weather--instead of moving to Browning Hill the second day, we decided to stay in the Hollow to avoid the strong, cold winds forecast for that evening.
From the delicious treats that were brought or found to the campfire conversation, jokes, and stories, everyone had a good time. Some arrived late, others left early, but everyone was glad they came.
If you are interested in hammock camping but have never joined one of these outings, I highly encourage you to do so. You may learn a few things and make some new friends, but will certainly never be the same. Check out www.hammockforums.net on the trip planning forum. It is a truly unique place on the web.
And, here's the video. You may need to turn up the sound to hear some of the conversation. Hope you enjoy!
