hey folks
i havn't seen a whole lot of info about leigh's top quilt so i thought i'd post a couple of pics.
i just recieved this yesterday and have to say that i could'nt be happier with the speedy service and great workmanship, this quilt is 84" long and 48"wide at the head and tapers to 40" at the feet. the foot box is formed with a bungee and a button and is more than adaquate for my size ten feet, another really neat feature of this quilt is the draw cord at the top end which allows you to cinch the quilt up at your shoulders creating a very snug fit for cold nights, the climashield on the outer edges does not appear to add much weight, but i suspect it will be worth the extra ounce or so on cold nights when the down would normally be compressed in those areas,
i don't have a way to wiegh it ,but it does not appear to way much more than my jrb hudson river, (another sweet piece of gear)..
can't wait to give it a test run in the ansel adams wilderness in sept, i will give you folks a report after that .
