Hi y'all!
I haven't joined the world of hangers yet, but it will be soon. The one thing that is holding me back is a question of skeeter control. Here in this part of the world, the skeeters are viscous and hungry. I have read, and it makes perfect sense, that the little varmints will bite right through a single layer of nylon if you have exposed skin above it. Considering it gets a mite hot and muggy around here in the summertime, how can you keep from getting bit without wearing enough clothes or using a pad to stop them? An attached bug net isn't going to help the exposed area underneath. I am what you would call "exothermic", meaning I put off so much heat, I can't stand sleeping on anything that doesn't breathe, even a Thermorest mattress. I've seen the Clark hammocks, but buying two of those, (1 for me and 1 for my son) is a bit pricey without knowing that they will work as advertised.
Any input here would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
