OK, I just finished my synthetic quilt. I basically sandwiched a piece of synthetic insulation between two pieces of fabric. Is it really necessary to quilt the finished product? Most of the stuff I have read state the quilting is only to keep the insulation in place, but it seems fine.
I always thought the quilting was for warmth, but I guess I was wrong. I was going to quilt it like the RayWay, but if it isn't necessary I won't bother. Thanks.
