Just wondering what people's thoughts are. A local fabric place has double wide (110") poly fabrics at an ok price and I was thinking if it would be useful to make a superwide gathered end.
Obviously wider = flatter but can it be too wide?

I have a 70" wide DIY hammock that is a little too wide. I made it an end channel hammock so the sides are a bit floppy. I think a regular whipped end might be better on an extra wide hammock. I can sure get a flat lie though.

I've got a couple of 8ft wide hammocks, (hammock bliss triple & eno double deluxe, used with friend sideways @ lake and mountains to sit and relax in with buffalo skin to lay on, would like longer, both are less than 10ft, so haven't used for sleeping, go to wbbb or WL night owl or now dangerbird bc of the lengths (11ft) and widths which seem to work better for me. However the wide ons are fun to play and lounge in.
