It worked for Corncob, hope I can find one. I love the WBBB and would like the BBO to help stay toasty warm this winter. Anyone out here want to part with one???

Go over to Arrowhead Equipment, Paul has them for sale and they are made to perfection.

I think he's looking for a deal on one that someone has and isn't using
Roger Corncob, I was hoping to get one that someone wants to part with for a reasonable price. Hennessey sells their overcover for $40, but AHE wants $75 on sale. I'm not sure what the difference is.

Made in America one at a time After materials and the 4-5 hours of labor that goes into each one we are lucky if we are making even close to minimum wage. Just saying

It would be $35 spent on superior craftsmenship. Paul's gear is probably the best sewing you can get. That's the difference.
Or buy one made in China by people who have no idea what they're even making, and have never used the thing in their own backyard.
That's why the one made in China isn't called Bear Burrito Oven. I can imagine some really confused Chinese people trying to understand how us crazy Americans are going to cook bears in one of these
I do think Paul's price is more than reasonable for a basically custom piece of work (custom in that it fits a specific hammock and it was likely a custom piece that he added to his inventory/store due to popularity). I simply thought if I could find a used or closet-dwelling piece of gear that needed a new home and save myself a few dollars in the process, I'd try that route first.
I had a nice overcover for a blackbird that I just gave away on here last week. Too bad you didn't check then. From the looks of it though, it didn't appear to complicated to make. I inherited it from a member here.
Also I would recommend a Poncho Liner. Just drape it over the blackbird and tie up the corners if you wish. That's what I do with excellent success in my yard. I doubt i would take it backpacking. Maybe car camping.
