Hi all,
I was out in my HH explorer at the weekend. I learned the hard way a while ago that your sleeping bag will not keep your back warm in a hammock. I now use an army issue arctic sleeping bag. The temperature on the night I was out was -6C and I'd taken a ground mat to insulate beneath me but it proved a bit uncomfortable and I had to pretty much stay still for the night to avoid rolling off it.
I was just about warm enough but would have liked to be warmer. Are there any simple tips that you could give me to set me in the right direction? I would ideally like to be warm, comfortable and I like to be able to move about during the night.
Thanks in advance for any words of advice.
Kieren
