Hey WBBB users - I need your help making a decision.
I have a mummy style and a rectangular style inflatable sleeping pad that I can use in my Dbl Layer BB.
Which one fits in the double layer space better?
Thanks for your help.

I prefer the rectangular shape better.
I used a big Agnes rectangle pad before I got an underquilt. It worked fine between the layers but I liked having it inside the hammock directly underneath me. I thought it was easier to adjust it that way. Try it both ways
Definitely the rectangular pad and inside does work a little better. I borrowed one of each early on and the rectangular seemed to sit better than the mummy. + it had better "wrap" for the edges. I was too cheap to buy a pad and made one out of that silver bubble wrap insulation they use in basements for about 15 bucks. It looked like a big cross. The middle part had wings that helped wrap around my torso. I used it for a summer until I froze my butt off in Sept when the temp dropped to just above freezing. I called Stromcrow (Adam) the next day at http://www.hammockgear.com and ordered my 0° Burrow & Incubator. I've been "Toasty Warm" ever since. I was out testing this past week when it got down to 25°. I was in two layers of cloths & hats. No extra quilt or sleeping bag was needed, JUST the TQ/UQ!! THANKS - Stormcrow!!!!
Have you checked out the GossamerGear 1/4'' Wide thinlight pads? They are pricey, but super wide, perfect for hammocks.
I agree with the rectangular. It will stay in place better, and will tend to wrap around your feet.
I will say that I preferred my Alps CCF pad to my Big Agnes Air Core. It's a softer foam than the Wal-mart style, and it flexed much better to my body shape than the air core.
I've since moved onto under quilts.

Thanks for the link Mudman!! I used my old Army foam pad last night in my WBBB and I got some condensation between the pad and bag. Is something that always happens when using a pad?
Wallyworld sells a 24"+ wide blue pad that weights 15oz and cost about $14 that I have used many a time in my BB.
Picture is of the pad in my wife's BB 1.0 double
