Triangle Thingie Mod Idea

I'm sitting at work thinking about a trip I have coming up in 2 weeks and thinking how I can best attach my PLUQ to my hammock and came up with this idea.

Make a Triangle Thingie and on the two corners, where the shock cord attaches from the UQ, attach a small nylon washer, then insert the shock cord with the cord stopper through the middle of the washer, using the cord stopper as a toggle.

My question is will that be enough support for the UQ?
