That's a gathered end hammock with an integrated (attached) bug net. The bug net has flexible poles (like t**t poles) inserted in sleeves that keep it tight and pulled up. Why they have the hammock strung so tight, I have no idea. And why they made the middle of the bug net out of solid nylon, I also have no idea.
I don't like seeing suspension around the trees like that either--meaning, without girthing the tree tight. That looks like it's going to slide right down the tree. Goofy... .
