I need a new bag for my Blackbird hammock, and I'm thinking of trying a quilt. I'm 6'3", around 280, so I need a fairly wide quilt. Looking to spend 200ish.
Any recommendations?

Paul at Underground Quilts and Outdoor Gear does custom work and fine work at that. He is easily the best in the business to work with and the quality is beyond reproach!
I think it would be hard to go wrong with any of the regulars on the forum (some have been listed already). I just bought a 40 degree down TQ from GoLite for $119 with free shipping that I love. There was also a recent thread covering this same topic (for someone about the same size as you if I remember correctly)

Hard to go wrong with any of our fine vendors but I am partial to Hammock Gear. If you contact them they can make you a quilt as long and wide as you need to your specifications. They also have spiffy UL material.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.
Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
also Tim Marshal makes some great quilts over at enLIGHTended Equipment. I personally have their Prodigy quilt and love it. you can undo the footbox and use it as a blanket, also it can be converted to an underquilt quite easily. He also has some pretty big sizes that should fit you fine like the 6'6" Wide size
really like my hammock gear burrow. The customer service was fantastic and I would buy from them again.
That said, my guess is that all of the vendors who focus hammock specific are probably pretty solid.
