Been on these forums for a while but I finally decided it was time to say hello and introduce myself.

I've been camping and outdoors most of my life, I'm an Eagle Scout and have spent a great deal of time enjoying the outdoors, including two very memorable trips to Philmont as a youth. A few years ago, I went camping for the first time since I turned 30 only to discover to my dismay, that my body didn't like sleeping on the ground anymore. When I woke that morning my back was killing me.

8 years later I had my first Hammock Camping experience (about a month ago). And the wonder of the outdoors are open to me again

I will never sleep on the ground again.

Thanks to all of you who have gone before me and learned so much that you so willingly share.
