I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

OMG The suspense of waiting for part 2 is already killing me.
Geez! Mine might have an adjustable loop of the elastic suspension, but I'll have to look for it... I've never seen it!
That's the undercover elastic BEEP (Bottom Entry/Exit Portal) elastic, which pulls a dart through the whole hammock until it gets some load. It prevents you from knowing if the hammock lays properly, until you get in!"Looks kinda bunchy right now..."

Good job! The only improvement I can suggest would be to put in a segment showing how the OCF pad is rolled out in the UC, and threading the side elastics through the loops. The latter is what really confused me the first time I put mine up -- it just didn't make sense that all I needed to do was thread the tieouts through, but it really is that simple.
After the UC is attached, the operation you will do the most is to install and remove the OCF pad, that is if you're like me and carry the pad separately. For the folks who choose to pack that way, spending a little more video time on how to do this might be helpful. For folks (like Tom H.) who don't remove the OCF pad and just roll the whole mess up, its a non-issue of course.
Just a thought, what you've got so far is very good.

Thanks... I have had that planned for the second half. I must confess though that the business of rolling the pad out in the undercover has me a bit flummoxed. I know that's the suggested process... but I wonder if it is really that critical. It's a bit cold still atm... I'm waiting until it warms up a bit today so I can get the footage I want. I am hoping to get out into the woods this weekend so I may be able to get some real campsite footage as well. It's nice to have a small camera with a battery that works.

No, not critical at all. The outcome will be the same if you just stuff it in there.
Its more a matter of minimizing frustration and effort. After setting up/tearing down my SS OCF pad close to 100 times, I've simply learned the hard way that rolling/unrolling is the easiest way to do it. This is especially true when its raining, and I'm trying to keep the pad dry under the tarp.

Nice vid. I enjoyed the detailed explanation and look forward to the next installment.
I've got a TrekLight Double that I thought about using as an UC under my SnugFit. Think that might work similar to the Hennessy SS UC?
Second installment is shot and will be edited over my second cup of coffee. Kurt... I think I got the hang of the rolling thing and I agree it is quite easy and does save some aggravation.

Part 2 has been added to the opening of the thread. Enjoy and tell me what you think.

Nice job on part II! You've done a great service to the HF members!
The only comment I'd make is that I normally just roll up my HeatSheet SB right in the OCF pad. One less thing to lose, and when you unroll the pad its right where it should be! It takes no extra space for the SB in your stuff sac, and the pad protects the SB. I've been using the same one for a year now, and though I can't say it looks brand new (it faded), it has no punctures or tears.

p.s. very creative name for your video - I like it!
