I think I left my straps on a pair of trees in Damascus last week. I have two pairs, and now I seem to only have one. I can make more out of nylon webbing for this weekend, but my roll of polypro is fresh out.
It's a cautionary tale for anyone as absent-minded as me; use a checklist to pack up at home AND at camp.
