Is the Ultralight 4.6 x 9.6?
Or is it 4.6 x 8.6?

im fairly certain it is larger than 8'6"
btw, you can get it shipped for $22 from Campsaver.com using the promo code 6425-LRTR
My camo UL Travel hammock is 4'6" x 8'6" not the 9'6" that the Travel Hammock site lists.
My knife is so sharp it cut the sixth finger off my right hand! On the plus side, Inigo Montoya no longer hunts me.
I love my GT Ultralight! Mine is the forest green color and is over 9' long. This is one of my favorite hammocks, and it is hard to beat the price!
I have only had my GT Camo UL for a week now, and so far I like it...
I ordered one .... I need to play with bugnets now.
I'm making a pair of Whoopie slings for it now .... The ropes are the first thing that's going to go.
I'm figuring about 10 ounces with the Slings .... I don't know how I can beat the weight for the size.
Update:
I finished two 7 ft slings out of Amsteel Blue .... came out to 1.5 ounces.
If the Hammock Body is 8.7 ounces .... it should come out right around 10.2 ounces.

Well ... Campsaver delivered on Christmas eve! What a great Christmas present.
I hung it in the back yard this morning and tried out my DIY synthetic underquilt as well.
Here's a few pics:
With my Golite Ultra 20 I was very warm ..... weather service said the temperature was 36 with little wind.
The ultralight, with 7 ft Whoopies and two micro biners for the UQ weighs in at 11.2 ounces.
The 2/3 UQ weighs in at 12.5 ounces with shockcord suspension and uses two layers of climashield 2.5 ounce XP covered with Momentum (36 inches x 48 inches).
Next is a bit of Tarp work I think.

Very nice! I love my Ultralight. The Whoopie Slings make it a very lightweight hammock option. I'm in the process of trying my new Equinox bug net, but it will be months before I can find any bugs to shield against.
I modded my GT UL hammock with 6' 7/64 amsteel whoopies and 6' polyester tree straps and the weight came to 12.85 oz total. Not a bad UL option at all, pretty comfy too. I found the Nano 7 to be really small, for 3-4 more oz weight this is a good compromise.
