Nice setup !
Are you sure it's a good idea to attach the tarp guyline to your dog ? What if he/she sees a cat
Set-up looks okay from here! Good luck with it! Now you get to swap everything out several times, buy more gear just 'cause, and watch the weather reports more closely!

Haha I just realized it looked like that!! Actually he is tied to a nearby tree.
I've been playing all day, trying different pitches and stuff. And I'm already trying to figure how many months I have to save up for a Cuben Fiber Winter tarp for 360 protection!!
Congrats. I am jealous. My set up is not yet complete, I still need to purchase my tarp.
The tadpole is a great choice, I am sure you'll be happy with it.
What are you using to tie out your tarp, just curious?
The more I learn about people, the more I like my dog.
Nice set up all you need now is a Tq and a UQ
what a great 'little' tarp!
congrats.
i really like mine. i've designated it as my extended day hike tarp.
at its cost, i can really biff it around. just jam it into my day pack
and head out. that doesn't discount it's use, though, as what i
feel is a bombproof, weather-worthy tarp.
its just the right size, imho, for all 3 of the seasons.

There is a really cool trick for tieouts using tri-stakes (ground Hog style). If you wrap the line around the stake twice, then roll the bottom line (under tension) over the loose line they become adjustable... I know there's a video around here somewhere. Someone help me out, its past my bedtime. lol
