AHA! That's what I was missing. Thanks
So, how much stretch are you looking for in the bungee? 1/8", 1/4" bungee?

3/32 works, so does 1/8 it just depends on hoe light weight you are, remember it is doubled over so you get quite a bit of pull out of 3/32... I used 3/32...
Live, Laugh, Love, if that doesn't work. Load, Aim and Fire, repeat as necessary...

Just to be a voice of discontent:

I use 7/64 Amsteel for my tarp ridgeline. Only because I carry a hank of it in my bag for "anything/everything", and it usually winds up being for the tarp. I could save a few grams going to something smaller, sure; but what if I need to pull a car out of the ditch on the drive home?
It could be that the purpose of my life is merely to serve as a warning to others.

Thank you. I like the way you limited the amount of stretch.

Yep! Sorry, I should have said:
    • I use a 6" loop of Bungee cord between my tarp and my guylines.
