I love my Vario stand. Can easily move from sun to shade or vice versa. The ENO singlenest is my go-to hammock for a nap. But I just have to have whoopie slings on it

Has anyone pushed this stand near the suggested weight limit of 350lbs? I am looking for a stand that my wife and I can use together.
Thanks!
I just ordered one of these stands from Amazon! Can't wait. I will probably set it up in my spare bedroom untill spring, then it will go out in the yard. Hanging indoors looks like a lot of fun.
just realized this was an old thread.
NOTE EVERYBODY: the manufacturer's photos in the OP show the knobs on the top (ie right underneath your back!).
Make sure you get the improved version that has the knobs on the side, which, in fact, is what the OP's photos show.
This makes a huge difference, especially in how low the hammock can sag before your back is sitting on those knobs.
i have the older version with the knobs on top .....i have never actually used the knobs...? my wieght in the hammock prevents the stand from moving.....even without weight, i dont think the stand will move.....to test this just get up in the middle of the night and kick the stand foot as you walk by in the dark...!
it doesnt move and man does it hurt....!
I Like the Stand from what I could see, although I have a Question that relating
to the use of Clark's Nx-200 Jungle Hammock with this Stand.
#1. The Hammock stand height max's out at 57 inches ( 4 ft. 9 inches ) . I believed this is kinda low for the Height.
Although the Length can be extented to 180 inches ( 15 ft. ).. which is good.
#2. The Clark's Hammock Tarp is 127 inches long ( 10 ft. 7 inches), which is find.
But now the height is questionable.
Just curious, if I would be to Low to the Ground?...
Appreicate your respond, Thank You

Hey, I wanted to pull this thread up from the deep again with a price update. Amazon has these now for $99 with free shipping.

Sadly, it looks like the Vario Hammock Stand has been discontinued by its manufacturer (Byer of Maine). But Byer of Maine is still selling the $39.95 Vario Hammock Extender -- which hopefully would make the Vario Hammock Stand amenable to use with a Bridge -- IF you already have one.
