Well, I guess I'll have to say I'm very interrested in coming along for the hang.

It all depends on when and how the work front looks around that time (sometimes there are just to much to do).

    I'll subscribe to the post.

If there will be a HF hang in Sweden I'm in to. You can see were I live on the map. And for you Swedes, about 30 km north of Örebro.
Here in the beautiful bergslagens it's wonderful to hang and fish. Couldn't stand to be without the freedom to roam.

    /Marcus, just another Swede.

Yay, the thread is awake again.

I'm still waiting for my first hang! My daughter (and an unpredictable colleague) put a kibosh on planned trip before Christmas.

I'm so incredibly ready for a hang now, and not getting out means I've had even more time to buy gear I don't need! (Of course this is not true, I _need_ everything!)

    Cheers,
    Tor Magnus

I am heading up to Halland in Sweden in the months May and June for a hike on Hallansleden. If a hang could be organised in that area and around that time, I am in.

    Cool !
Busy times that, i think ?

My myself, have a project around 7-8 May !
(have to check with others if oki to spill).

Then we have the Alpacka adventure in Scandinavia ? 2 June - 6 June
Straight after that i will go Adventuring with my dad. 6 - 12 June

End of May look empty at the moment ?
What is Hallands leden about ?
    Any waters around ?
    Got any links ?

    Thinking loud here:
Hmm, if it's cool waters around Hallands Leden,
why don't we relocate Alpacka adventure in Scandinavia ? 2 June - 6 June
    from Rogens to Hallandsleden.
That way, i never have to see the boulders at Rogens any more

PS, are you going to hike the whole thing ?

    A link to Hallandsleden (swedish):
    http://www.vandrare.com/pages/hallan...ns-etapper.php

I see on the map that all the 4 BIG(!) rivers that we had to learn about in school is passed on that trail (Viskan, Ätran, Nissan, Lagan). I´ve never seen those rivers but a friend of mine was disappointed when he saw them. He´s also from the north and compared to the big rivers up north he said those rivers more looked like ditches. I don´t know if that´s true!
No longer with a great "Yukon Yak Fever"

My only certainty is that I will be going to Halland.

And renting a canoe along the way could be part of the hike.

I am still waiting for maps of the route.
