Just curious, those of you who are full time- do you say "Go to Hammock" at night now?

The last week or so has been even smoother than the first two in my ENO after switching up to a Dutchware, so I decided to flip my mattress and box spring up against the wall in an attempt to "go full time" without the ability to bail out and go to ground, and last night was very successful. I slept until my alarm clock so rudely awoke me from my nest. That having been said, I don't "Go to bed" any more I suppose... and if there's no bed in my room, does that make it a hammock room?

Don't let the hammock bugs bite!

If you get really sick the doctor may put you on hammock rest.

Kids sometimes accidentally pee overnight - aka "hammock wetters".

Kroma, Why not? No walls worth mounting to? No space for a Turtledog?

Markr6, My mom always used an expletive when I was growing up when she was frusterated.. "Sh1t the bed!" but doing so in a hammock would be exponentially horrifying.

Actually, you can wash a hammock, not so much a bed.

I still say "going to bed" - habit.

Welcome to the full time hangset. No bed in my hammock room any longer. My last old poly fill SB along with a good sized piece of CCF under it resides in one corner for my hiking buddy Cody, in case he wishes to join me.....which he usually does.

He also gets my former bed pillow. I have no longer any use for it.

just less than $100 at the local home depot for three 10' sections of 1" pipe cut and threaded correctly and you'll be haning in an hour. if you need the dimensions drawn out for you, lemme knwo i'll be happy to do so. it won't be pretty or anything, but you'll be able to understand whats what and how to tell the person doing the cutting how why where and whatnot.

I kind of dove in head first in the kiddie pool.. Bought an ENO Junglenest and Atlas Straps, set it up outside, bought the indoor kit a day later, bought a Dutchware and rigged some Whoopie slings a week later because the ENO is too short, and now, some 3 weeks later, My bed's gone. Fortunate to have a wife that is cool with that sort of thing. She's got some health problems preventing our co-sleeping anyhow so having the liberty to completely customize how I sleep has been fantastic.

She told me last night after I kept yawning "Go to Hammock! You're tired." and I Lol'd.

Side note: I hate Hate HATE fitted sheets, especially on pillow top beds. Mine always snapped me in the face after coming up in the middle of the night *&#$(*&@#$(&*!!!! Good RIDDANCE!!
