An addendum to what I posted earlier...

My cheap beginner's setup works, but if you've got the funds, you probably should just go with a double layer hammock like the Warbonnet or a complete system like the ones offered by Hennessey. I say this because you will try it, and you will like it, and then you're gonna start buying a bunch of gear.

Thanks yet again...I love this place. I've been watching Shugs' videos and they have been great. I think that I am strongly leaning towards the BB 1.7. Seems to have everything I need. Strong, light enough, roomy, bug screen, great quality...what's not to love. I'll probably be ordering this week, I'll definitely post up my impressions once I get to hang in it. Thanks again for the welcomes and advise.

Aloha from Hawaii.....I have a body by Rubens! Out of the box, a ENO double....coveting a BB 1.7. I will hang awhile in the ENO Double and then pass it down to the man-child. I've been looking at the Jacks R' Better stand for the house (renting, can't drill). Would love to see pics of your set up and hear what you have to say.

I'll absolutely post up thoughts and pics once I decide and order the setup. I thought maybe getting an ENO just because they are cheap and trying that around the house before committing to an expensive system like the BB1.7...I've not made up my mind yet. I figure I have some time since I'll probably not be doing any overnighters until spring. That way I have time to save for the hammock, tarp, and insulation layers.
