Finagled my way out of work tomorrow. Decided I couldn't wait til morning. Threw everything in the ol jeep, wheels rollin towards the forest.. Settin camp in the dark seems to be my forte.
Sarge tell me where to go and I will print some out. Is it one per hiker or one for the group.

I’m mostly packed, anticipating an arrival early Saturday afternoon. I decided on my less-used summer hammock system, the Claytor Mosquito, after reading the thread on the durability of cuben tarps in summer heat.
Thanks for the great directions, Sarge. I expect I’ll hear either whooping or snoring as I get close, but I’m bringing a compass just in case. Looking forward to meeting other hangers.

Does anybody need a hammock, tarp, or pack? I haven't packed my extra yet and want to make sure that if someone was counting on them that I bring them.
I could also bring a WBBB and a tarp. I'm bringing the tarp already (an extra). I think the WBBB has the original buckle suspension. So someone would need like two HD carribeaners. but I'm not hiking them to the lake!

I'm packed, but not in the truck yet. My employer lets us off Friday at noon. I plan to zip home, eat, toss everything in the truck, ice down the Gatorade and head out of DFW. Hope to leave before 2. Should be down by 5.
