Most of the cottage vendors here on HF have cordage by the foot.
Many of the vendors here have cordage available - Dutchware, Arrowhead Equipment to name two. Others have found it a Bishco, West Marine and Redden Marine. Hope that helps!
Also depends what cordage? Most of what i mentioned will be for zing it and amsteel.

Zing-it and Lash-it are made from Dyneema, the same material as Amsteel. 7/64 Amsteel commonly used for hammock suspension. Zingit and Lashit are excellent for guylines, ridgelines.

Just out of curiosity (and because I have one close to my house) does rei carry anything that would work for tarp suspension?
