The current radar shows icy precipitation on the TN/NC border.
The forecast for our campsite looks to be low 30's both night and low 60's the next two days. Lots of fog tonight, so this might be a weathershield kind of night to keep your down dry.

We had a nice fishing trip planned that turned into a hiking trip.

Since we had the cold snap just before the trip (complete with snow the night before), the water temps stayed in the low 40's. That basically made for some catatonic trout. Not even a bite!
We'll be posting some pics and videos in the next day or so, but recently caught fish will not be featured.

I guess that is what happens when trips are planned that far in advance. Looks like this week will be much warmer. I'm going to have to go hit the streams just to make sure I did not lose my mojo!

Sorry to hear about it. My event (a fly tying class actually) ended up back on. Had a good time tying a crab, shrimp, and baitfish pattern.

Definitely interested in a spring trip, though!
