Thanks for the continued business and support.

The stakes are 7" long after bending which is the perfect size. They are short enough where they don't take up a ton of room but long enough to actually work. This new batch is more like 7.3 grams since I used .127" rod rather then .125" like last time. So the stakes are a bit stronger..

As far as design changes go. I changed the design a while ago for a number of reasons. The main reason was I found the hook to be more functional then the closed eye especially when you have a loop tied on to the end of your cord. The new design fixed that issue and due to the small hook and tight bends the stake will still not turn around on you under tension. Its really the same design as before, except I don't finish off the last bend.

Quite a few people now own both styles and so far everyone that has reported back have told me they like the new design better : )

Another happy user here. I have both some of the Ti-Eye and the Shepard Hook and I am simply very happy with both of the designs. Here lately I have been grabbing the Shepard Hooks more often though, but like I say, I don't mind using either. They are both the same weight and length and both have performed well in my experience. And the price is great on these things. Not to mention Lawson is a great guy to deal with and his shipping is very fast!

I am sorry to have to do this but the stakes will only be $1.75 each until August 22nd due to the rising material price. The new prices are yet to be determined but they will be $2.00+

Yea! Ti steaks ---GOOD! Better get some of that reflective cord too. Ya can't beat it for the price AND free ship. I have some on the way. It will most likely be here before the USPS site even says they have it! That is how it went last time too!
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.

Product Update: After receiving a few complaints over the last couple months about my stakes being too sharp I decided to make stakes with blunt tips. Due to the small rod diameter (.125") there seems to be no difference in penetrating power. I think they work just as good as before, but now there is no need to worry about the stakes piercing through any of your soft gear. I made the change a week or so back so some of you might already have these stakes. If you do, please feel free to comment and give feedback about the design change.

    Thanks,
    Lawson

As some of you know, I started making all the stakes with blunt points since I received a few complaints. I have sold ALOT of these new stakes and would like to hear any feedback on the Blunt vs. Sharp Points.

    Thanks,
    Lawson
