I think your English is perfect. Really like your DIY TQ idea. You've put together a really nice hammock kit.
I didn't get a good look at the pack you used. I'm trying to decide if I want everything on my back or maybe some panniers and a small pack.

Wow, 17 miles and you haven't been riding in 5 years. You are in better shape than me.
I just took the winter off and did 10 miles of single track today mostly rolling hills no climbs and my legs are killing me. I did have an nice
streamside hot lunch and 30 minute nap in the hammock. Didn't feel the pain until I got home.
Hi OaB, i'll try and make a video feature on my pack(it's actually a OMM running pack, but lends it self really well to UL camping and bike tours)
I dont like the way panniers affect the handling of my bike, so thats a no go for me.

Regarding distance - i used to bike A LOT(i raced mtb) so i'm just slowly trying to get back, my stamina is good but my oxygen uptake is close to non existent.... Well more room for improvement

Not sure what tarp you were using, but I use a MacCat Deluxe, in Spinn UL. I'm also using the MSR Titan Teakettle, Kiwi Stove (though mine is made from a Tobassco Chocolate tin), and was that your HF Buff sneaking up from under your collar? That's where I have mine as well - when I'm not using it. Sorry you can't get farther into the woods, but at least you managed to get outside, and that's all that counts, right! Great video, and I also look forward to #2, as well, and, no, you don't ramble at all.
    Hi G

My tarp is an el cheapo PU coated tarp, that with 4 stakes weighs close to 30oz(!). Still trying to find fundings for a MLD or a ZPack(in a worst case scenario i would save around 22oz!?! - quite significant). And yes that was my much beloved HF buff - a sharp opservation

Thanks, i guess cars and traffic is inevitable when i live only 15 miles from the center of our capitol

I'm kind of impressed over how good this works out, guess its because it doesn't "fall off me" like it would in a ground set up(uhhh... shrugs my shoulders)

    Nice Vid

    Bomber,

Think you did a great job on your video. Would never guess it was your first video production. Glad you were able to get back on the saddle of your bike again. Must of felt great.

I always enjoy my self stealing away to the woods. Hiking, Biking, hanging out cooking, gear testing. I'm sure you know the feeling too.

Again great job on your video post and thanks for sharing.

P.S. Your lucky to have a little patch of piney woods that you can enjoy!
I hike with SCISSORS cause it makes me feel dangerous ... LoL

Thanks Shug that means a lot coming from a performer, too bad i'm kind of horrible IRL

I'm not used to stand in front of a camera(but give me a crowd, two turntables and a mixer - then let the party begin!)

Nice video, there, Bomber! GREAT first-timer! Loved your set-up, and addiction to tea! It seemed like it was far enough away from civilization to at least sense the woods. If you ever get across the pond, there are many here that would love to show you some of our wooded forests!

Thanks for the nice break from work this afternoon!
