OK... So Ive been toying with youtube. And figured with my new venture, and the loads of questions about actually attaching a whoopie to a hammock, I came up with this.

OK, I've been trying to follow your other whoopie sling thread, but it's growing like mad (these are obviously a great idea...I just haven't figured it out). How would I attach the whoopie sling to the tree? I can see how it would be easy enough to wrap webbing around the tree then connect it to the sling with a biner, but that would weigh about as much as my ring buckle system. Is there an easier/lighter way?

It's funny seeing how small the actual sling looks in the video compared to the pics throughout the various threads. In the pics the amsteel looks like it has a large diameter. In the video it looks so thin!

I have not keep up with this method and I think I may be able to lighten my suspension a bit with it.

I use tree straps and biners. Weight isnt a concern of mine.

I believe you would just use the lark's head to the fabric method. Im not familiar with the Hennesey mounting system.
