    New DIY Under Quilt.

I just finished my new under quilt 3 in loft, fulls size 70"X45". Weight 17.3 oz. in the stuff sake. Its made with 1/2 cuben fiber and 1/2 momentum. 12oz of down. I made 6 1/2 inch panels of each. Each chamber has Cuben on one side and Monentum 55 on the other. Took about 8 hours to sew and stuff.

    very nice looking...
one thing... you might run into problems with down shifting with your chambers being so big... but it might not be a big deal.. just something to look out for
i like the colors alot .... should be good down to 20F easy with 3 inch of loft
It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold

    What was the cost...

Could you give us an idea on the cost, and what difference doing it in 1.1 silny would have been or other materials. It looks good though.

Its $76 for cuben fiber $57 for the momentun, and $60 for the down. So with everthing about $210. For me it an't about the cost. I just like having things I did my self. One day I'll do the pack too.
