Grand Trunk Tree Sling Hammock Hanging Kit

    HI,

I'm new to the forum and have a question about the Grand Trunk Tree Sling Hammock Hanging Kit. Does anyone have this? is it any good? It apparently says it doesn't stretch like nylon does. I already ordered it. I would just like to know if it works good.

    Hmmm?

The product description doesn't actually say what they are made of beyond "synthetic". So we know for a fact they aren't cotton or hemp. Regardless, it's going to be the line from huggers/slings to the hammock that will be the most susceptible to stretching, at least, with any noticeable difference.

Looks pretty much like any other tree hugger out there, so they should work fine. Curious, you said you already ordered them, but they are listed as out of stock. Did you get the last set, or did you buy them from a retailer?

I ordered them from Brookstone. They were on sale for $14. Im very new to hammocks, but reviews i was reading for eno slap straps were very bad and said it stretched alot, thats why i got these. I have a ENO double nest and am looking for some good tree straps. I plan on using it with my girlfriend do you think they could support a weight of 320 pounds?

yeah, im just worried about the tree straps being able to support that weight. I know they say they can support 400 pounds, but not sure how accurate that is. I think my main concern is the stretch, so many reviews for tree straps i read say they stretch alotttt, but most of those are nylon
