The wife and I got our uq's yesterday so as soon as the kids fell asleep we of course snuck out to test them. They work great of course and now I get to really enjoy the comfort of my BB. However it rained big time all night and around 2 a.m. I felt the hammock shudder. Thought it was due to my restless leg syndrome and started to go back to sleep when it did it again. Decided to get up and make sure the tree wasnt falling after seeing the post on one falling last night. I was about 5 inches from the ground. The drip down the straps had caused the buckle to allow slippage. Readjusted and put a slippery half hitch on it and had no more issues. Guess I am saying this because there is no need for anything when they are dry but if you expect rain you might want to add that knot just in case.
