    Love the trip report and picts. Great Job you two. Nicely done.
    Mosquitoes are just a fact of life this time of year. Looks like you guys were prepared for them.
    I never hike without my headnet in the ditty bag they're awesome.

    A little larger tarp might be required to keep a pack dry under the hammock or cover it with the pack cover.

    Yeah, I have been telling my hiking friends for years, I don't hike in july or aug. and now here I am, out in the woods in aug, I just had to go and try my hammock, I could not wait to go when its a good time, no, I had to be stupid and plan a hike that goes against my rules, Ive been hiking for a long time and know better.

    We are gonna have to get together with the local hammock folks and plan a trip so we can learn more about the hammock gear first hand, since we are stuck in our backpacking ways (tents) we could learn a few things from others, its hard for experienced hikers to change their thinking, the right people could make all the difference in the world
