sounds like they would be comparable (in size at least) to the 3-6$ fleece throw/lap-robes not sure if the weight is comparable, or the warmth retention...KM

I need to find a scale to weigh my fleece throw/top 1/2 bag.
I used ~3 yards of $1.49/yd fleece from Hancock Fabric's fleece sale last week. I'm 6'4", but it is so long I can pull it over my head and make my own micro-climate inside.
These throws would be a bit short for me.
Still interested in playing with a few of these throws, if I can find them. I have no experience with Down.

Just got off the phone with SA and the down throw is ONLY available at the store.
And they do not accept phone sales at the store....grrrr.

I just snagged two from my local SA and they still have about 25-30 left still for 9.97. For the price ya can't beat it and I still have no clue what I'll use it for. Maybe sew them together and see what kind of UQ I can make from this mess. Now if only I knew how to sew...
They are a lot of weight but I plan on taking the take from it and putting it in a new light weight shell. The reason I got these besides the price and becuase I can't afford a appropriate top quilt is because packability. I could use my old 40 degree sinthetic bag that takes up my entire pack or take these for the same weight/warmth. I was able to put two of them in one stuff sack that the came in as well.
I bought alot of these throws and made uq and tq. You can't beat the price. My tq measures 50x70. Just cut and add to make size you want. The throws I got weigh in at 24-27ozs.
