Thanks for taking those of us who couldn't make this trip along for the ride. Looks like a fun, scenic hike. I haven't heard you breathe that hard since we carried all that water over the Crest Trail.Your videos are a great addition. Thanks... TZQ

That’s a very rugged place you got to hike in there, very nice too! Some of those areas aren't very hammock friendly! lol The flowers are blooming nicely. Yes, very nice place, thanks for the videos and photos!

Yes, they were 1 liter bottles. Ed was using the Steripen, Ken and I were filtering. Ken was using a home made setup of filter, tubing and bag that he put together from parts. I was using the Gravity Works setup.

I carried 2 liters all the time, for convenience sake and to keep my front pockets balanced. We had plenty of water along the trail most of the time. On the 4th day hike over Pawnee Pass, I think Ed and Ken opted to carry only a liter and they ran out before we hit the saddle. It was a little bit of a scramble to find a decent water source where we were at at the time, but they did.

A funny story about 2 good lookin gals that asked me about my pack........ one had on this low cut top, with her girls vying for my attention, and I did not disappoint. I'm just glad I had on my shades so she couldn't tell.

The other gal was taller and just a bigger gal all around. After explaining how the pockets worked to balance the pack so you can walk upright, she said "My boobs do the same thing for me". I was caught a little off guard at that and I said, "Well,.... if you've got the weight"....ok, I better stop right there.

HaHa, good story. Men will be men esp after a few days on the trail.
The videos seem to show water everywhere but I was wondering if water was going to be an issue once you guys got up around the two passes you crossed.

Does your Aarn pack have the orange waterproof liners? My Mtn Magic does but I never use them in the front.
