Great vid Shug. Simple and informative for the newbie, as well as the seasoned hanger. Looking forward to the next installment.......

Hey Shug (or anyone else)! I figured out hanging last year on my hike. But I just used my WBBB and a pad with my sleeping bag. Now I'm getting ready to go out in the cold, so I have a Yeti and a JRBweathershield. I can't figure out how to use either of them! The yeti has 6 snaps but there's no place to snap it... The Weathershield has elastic but I can't figure out where they go. How do I put them together to stay nice and warm?

Fan-tastic! Love the vid Shug. I've been lamenting (and worse) my DIY hammocking projects and your vid hit the spot. Looking forward to your vid on insulation!

Just from this video ... I went and done bought me some gunmetal black whoopie slings and toggles from Arrowhead Equipment. Will tinker with soon for my Warrbonnet Blackbird. I know I'll want to keep my suspension weight low and I'm sure this will help, plus with your videos I'm sure I will be well prepared. :lol

Thanks for another great and wonderful video. It was very informative and all around entertaining. It was the first thing I went to after getting back from the Feb. Pinhoti group hang, well that is after I woke up from my nap.

Rearrange SHUG and you get GUSH... as in, "My, how folks do gush over that video about hammocks!"

You could also get HUGS, as in, "I love my hammock so much I give it hugs."

You could also get UGHS, as in, "Ughs, me Shug. Me hang in trees."

You could also get SHGU, as in, "I'm Shug and I'm a SHGU- a Special Hanging Gear User."

    And so on......

Yep, even Sean's nickname is fun!

Thanks Shug: the slow motion on the marlinspike was just what I needed! How about a slow mo on setting up the bishop bag: hadn't heard of or seen that before.

I know the new Yetis have snaps for an add on liner. Mine doesn't have them.
You may have to ask the Jacks about that weathershield .... mine just hooks over my whipping on my hammock.

Good ... I am glad that helped. I will try to do the BB Bag .... think of it as a stuff sack that just hangs on your hammock suspension ... thus the hole in the bag. Time to leave camp ..... just stuff the hammock in and off you go.
