FWIW, I just fold as I go, about 8 to 12" at a time. No pinning. The hem doesn't need to be perfect.

Knotty my frustration was simply remembering all the guys that had never sewn before commenting how easy it was to make their first hammock. I knew I wasn't holding my mouth just right I just couldn't figure out why. Once I got it there was nothing to it.

Actually when you are at sewing/fabric store ask for quilters clips, they generaly come in packages of 50 or so, Same thing as the barretts just silver.
