I got mine from an Army-Navy store. The Army gives exercise band kits to deploying soldiers and you can choose from different strengths. I forget what mine was...something like $3 for a 6' length.

IMPOSSIBLE JUST TAKES LONGER
Hospitals throw out broken stethoscopes, but the much of the tubing is still good. I've used them on my slingshots. Some of the black ones are so strong that it is hard to hold it long enough to sight in without shaking.

They sell the replacement band sets by the slingshots at Meijer here. they are only a few bucks. They carry the black here. I can grab ya one if you can't find it locally.
