using a line loc on a tarp...

I found this method of using line locs on the tie outs. what do you all think? I would use shock cord to attach to the line loc 3.

I use these line locks extending as tie outs from my cuben tarp.
    they are very effective.

I prefer to have the shock cord at the other end, down by the stake. That way I can adjust the length of the tie-out and use the line loc to tighten the pitch, easy peasy.

Will this line loc work with the 1.75mm zingit? The Hammockforums store is sold out on the mini line-loks (1-2mm)

I like having the convenience of adjustability at the d-ring.

Not in high wind. The line will slide.

On mine a sewed ribbon elastic into a loop after threading the line lock and the tied a larks head knot onto the tarp D-ring seems to work fine.
