    Welcome to HF!

I'm waiting for the thaw to get back into my hammock as well. This website is a great source of knowledge when starting out. I have just finished my whoopie slings and I'm getting anxious to see if my new webbing works better than the stretchy slapstraps after reading everyone else's experiences.

Alaska is one of my favorite places. From the crazy nights at the Anchor Inn in Whittier to all the hiking everywhere else. Welcome to HF!

Welcome from Indiana too. Hey, You got the #$%$# to camp out in Alaska? The night belongs to the Grizzzz up there. BTW, My daughter and son-in-law live in Anchorage.
Predictions are risky, especially when it comes to the future.

A warm welcome from Denmark. And a word of advise. Get the best first time around. Saves you money.

Welcome to Hammock Forums. By next year you will probably be hanging with down under quilts and top quilts in temps of -20 to -40 and loving it.
