    My first top quilt

    Hi All
I have been making a down top quilt built on mikeinfhaz 35 degree quilt directions. It is not finished yet and I sewed a few more baffles last night but I'd like to share these progress photos.
The down in the photos if from an old double bed quilt, I may not use it yet and order some new down from a place I have found on the other side of Australia.

Looks good so far. Keep us posted on the rest of your progress.

On another note, I wonder what the insulating properties are of cat fur. I could make a lot of quilts with all the fur I've got lying around, and it appears you have a fur donor as well.

Looks mighty fine. If that down doesn't work out, maybe your cat will donate some of his/her, uh, "down".

lookin good man. if you can get your paws on some of Speer's 900 down go for it!
in my quilt I used 6 oz. cost for that was $52. totally worth it IMO.
your baffles look nice and thick! its gonna be a puffy quilt, eh?
(btw guys, my quilt directions were posted at PBF. If anyone is wondering what Gunn is talking about)

Can you repost them over here? That would be great. Lots of interested folks here who might not get over there.

    Hi
I created a pdf file of Mike's instructions to help with making my quilt. If allowed and if anyone wants a copy of Mike's plans I could set up a download for them.
