Glad you made it. Kick my butt it did. Most rugged hiking in my life.

Just got home... not showered yet. I wanted to offer some interesting numbers.

21 HF people entered the Gorge
4 or more people sustained some kind of injury
4 or more people had to bushwack to find the trail
1 rest day was required halfway through the loop
9 or more people ate at Louise's Rockhouse twice
3 people are still in the Gorge tonight!

I am sure there are more numbers that will illustrate how tough the Gorge can be! I was only there overnight, but on the way in I collected different stories from folks who were heading home. When I got to the river, the entire crew was resting, and they needed it!

    More later...

Well I made it back alive ... and more or less in one piece. I'll post more later ... with photos and videos of my three days.

Got home late last night stripped gear and hung wet tarps and stuff all over the garage! Shower and died for a few hours. Got to admit starting the morning walk with the boys was a bit stiff but felt great after getting going.

Got home with one full Rhubarb-strawberry pie. Great meal with the guys and fun conversation with Louise and her grandson.

Waitress told us Shug and the guys left with a ton on hot dogs!

    Well back to work today

He's fine ... and I'm sure having a ball with the Shug-n-nator and Hickery.

Thorwren .. we've decided your Adam is the by product of an alien breeding experiment. Either that or he's just not grasped the concept that humans aren't capable of doing what he does!!!

I was beat coming around a curve only to look back and see Adam ... followed by Running Feather and Hanging Burrito!!! Wonderful moment ... was very glad to see you'd let him out to come play with us!

WARNING: Will discuss Rhurbarb Strawberry Pie and Livermush at random.
